A calm, settled day with sun shining bright until mid-afternoon. There wasn’t a lot of movement at dawn, despite the reasonably good conditions but both Crossbill (c60) and Lesser Redpoll (c100) passing over Carey Secret Garden on and off during the course of the day. There were 5 Spotted Redshank in Lytchett Bay this afternoon and this evening 20 Cattle Egret flew over the Stoborough causeway heading towards teh harbour to roost. A Great White Egret was in Holes Bay this morning,
