Summer is back, for now, and with it a massive push of hirundines, mainly House Martin. There were masses over many areas of the harbour skyline, and an impressive 200+ ringed at the Carey Ringing Station this afternoon. There were still 2-3 White-tailed Eagles around the south and west of the harbour along with 2-3 Osprey, including 2-year old male 5H6 still. There were 65 Spoonbill on the Brownsea Lagoon along with c200 Avocet.
