Highlight of todays sightings was a Ruff present at Lytchett Fields amongst 268 Lapwing, as well as 1 Spotted Redshank, 2 Green Sandpiper, 10 Redshank and 4 Greenshank. At the end of the rising tide in Lytchett Bay there were 185 Avocet, 1 Spotted Redshank, 7 Little Grebe and a Marsh Harrier reported. A male Hen Harrier was reported over Ferry Road at Studland heading towards Littlesea this morning. In Brands Bay late this afternoon were 54 Great Crested Grebe, 26 Red-breasted Merganser and 4 Goldeneye.
