Things are getting more autumnal as each day goes on, certainly with more waders appearing. There were 3 Curlew Sandpiper on RSPB Arne Moors with another in Middlebere, plus 6 Spotted Redshank were in Middlebere and another 2 were in the Wareham Channel. A Glossy Ibis was also in the Wareham Channel along the Keysworth shoreline with 2 Osprey, 1 Marsh Harrier and 1 Spoonbill in the same area. There were also 61 Spoonbill on the Brownsea Lagoon with 289 Avocet. The 9 Goosander were still feeding in Brands Bay this afternoon. Middlebere was busy this evening and saw 2 Osprey, 22 Knot, 10 Greenshank, 4 Great White Egret, 296 Black-tailed Godwit, 29 Dunlin and a Yellow-legged Gull.
