With the rising tide at Lytchett Fields this morning was a count of 3 Common Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpiper, 11 Greenshank, 35 Redshank, 18 Lapwing, 3 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Snipe and 80 Teal. 1 Osprey was perched near the mouth of the Sherford from Lytchett Bay. From RSPB Coombe Heath overlooking the Middlebere Channel highlights were 12 Spoonbill, at least 2 Osprey, 1 Great White Egret and 1 Whimbrel.
