A blasting cold northerly wind made it pretty unpleasant today, but with meteorological spring only a few days away, hopefully warmer days are on their way! There was a Green Sandpiper in Upton CP which is a good ‘Poole Town’ record. The Cattle Egret flock on Wareham Common was only 13 today, a Marsh Harrier flew over the Wareham causeway and there were 2 Spotted Redshank at Middlebere and 1 at Lytchett Fields.
