There were a few snippets of sun today, and even a dash of blue above our heads from the School Bird Boat this morning, but the wintery chill persisted. One of the juvenile White-tailed Eagles was in the Wareham Channel, looking quite at home as both adults were wondering out across the Purbeck’s. There were also 13 Spoonbill in the Wareham Channel and 2 Marsh Harrier. The Snow Bunting was still on Hamworthy Beach and 2 Great Northern Diver were off the beach. There were up to 12 Cattle Egret on Wareham Common, north of the railway bridge and a Great White Egret flew into roost at Swineham this evening.
