Harbour Update – posted 15/08/21

A terrific Osprey watch from Ham Common between 9am and midday enjoyed a minimum of 6 Osprey hunting over the harbour, with 4 in view at the same time! Three were seen carrying fish and one skydancing over Arne, most likely 022. Black-tailed Godwit count peak at 348 on the low tide at Holes Bay this morning, accompanied by 93 Redshank, 44 Curlew and 3 Whimbrel, as well as 6 returning Teal from the Stone Bench. Redhorn Point featured 3 Wheatear, 2 Sanderling, 2 Ringed Plover, Whimbrel and Common Sandpiper.
