Yet again, Holes Bay delivered on Osprey sightings. Today a single bird was observed on Pergins Island early afternoon. A wet and windy trip along Hamworthy beach this afternoon produced a feeding flock of 33 Turnstone and 5 Oystercatcher.
A Spotted Redshank frequented Holton Pools today along with the more common waders. Brownsea Lagoon featured good numbers of waders and wildfowl. Highlights included a flock of 80+ Avocet with several feeding very close to the hides with Greenshank, Redshank, Teal and Shoveler.
