A slightly quieter day, but still plenty going on. Around the Swineham area 4 Yellow Wagtail in and around the mouth of the Frome, 18 Cattle Egret were on the meadows around the Stilt Pools and a few Bearded Tit were also in reeds next to the gravel pit at Swineham. An adult White-tailed Eagle was in the Wareham Channel this morning along with a tatty looking Osprey which was likely Scottish female 6J8. A few more waders had arrived including 2 Turnstone and 5 Dunlin on the Brownsea Lagoon along with 8 Spoonbill. The Lower Piddle Valley ringing station produced again with 36 Grasshopper Warbler ringed, along with 3 Garden Warbler.
