Spring seems to have departed for a few days, with icy cold temperatures back on the menu. It is supposed to warm up again a bit later in the week, so until then….wrap up warm! There was a winter vibe today with the Long-tailed Duck still in Bramble Bush Bay this morning, although at least it’s had the decency to moult into its summer plumage. There was also a summer plumaged Black-necked Grebe off Studland Beach this morning too. At Holmebridge there was a single Great White Egret and 7 Cattle Egret were at East Holme.
It was a proper bird-filled day across the harbour today, as the winter chill began to set in….
