An incredibly blowy day, but more signs of winter were creeping in with a new Red-throated Diver off Goathorn Point, near Brands Bay this afternoon from our low-tide cruise. There were also 40+ Red-breasted Merganser round the back of Green Island and an adult White-tailed Eagle flew along the southern shores over Rempstone. In the Wareham Channel 4+ Marsh Harrier seen heading towards the pre-roost near Swineham, plus there were 9 Spoonbill feeding mid-channel, 2 Spotted Redshank were off Giggers Island and a good suit of commoner waders were logged including c200 Dunlin, c40 Avocet and 100+ Curlew. There were also 8 Spoonbill in Lytchett Bay this morning.
