Black-tailed Godwit and Redshank numbers were up with 5 Avocet on the lagoon too. The Common and Sandwich Tern chicks continue to flourish and it won’t be long before some of the Sandwich Terns begin to make their maiden flights. In the Wareham Channel this evening there were 2 Osprey fishing which were later seen in Middlebere.
