A pretty dank day with April showers hitting by mid-morning. It was about time we had some rain, hopefully enough to start re-wetting the dry river valleys, creating pools again to draw in passage waders. A Spotted Redshank was in Lytchett Bay, a single Wheatear was on Hartland Stud and a single Whimbrel was in Holes Bay. Lets hope for better over the rest of the Easter weekend!
