An incredibly windy Spring Safari this morning, but once again, the returns were well worth the effort with sighting of 2 different Osprey around the Wareham Channel and Shipstal area, plus ‘Beaky’ has been on the Middlebere Channel nest platform for most of the day, having caught a huge Mullet mid-afternoon. Another Osprey was seen fishing in Lytchett Bay this afternoon too. The Forster’s Tern was on the Brownsea Lagoon again, there were 3 Marsh Harrier around Swineham and up to 7 Spoonbill were still roosting on Shipstal. Red Kite were moving around today with several over various watch points, 3 Spotted Redshank were in Lytchett Bay and Lytchett Fields logged its first Little Ringed Plovers with 2 present along with 7 Greenshank.
