We think the sun may have risen at some point today, due to the pale grey colour of the sky as it rained, but to be honest, we’re not 100% sure. Regardless the years first Little Ringed PloverĀ appeared on Lytchett Fields, calling as it was flying around the site and over a Spotted Redshank that was also on the fields. Through the murk several Sand Martin passed over the Wareham Channel and off Jerry’s Point the Long-tailed Duck was still present with 2 Slavonian Grebe and 3 Great Northern Diver.
